Best Hotel For Kids in Las Vegas
Las Vegas isn't known for being the most "kid friendly" vacation spot, however there are some resorts that have done a great job catering to the kids as well as the adults at several price points. Please keep in mind that children are never allowed in the gaming areas of the resort. Listed below are our favorites spots.
Mandalay BayWhat makes Mandalay Bay a great destination for those with kids.

The ExcaliburWhat child doesn't want to stay at a giant castle complete with a "moat" and dragon. This budget friendly option on the south end of the Las Vegas strip is perfect for everyone in your group.
Fun Dungeon! - Located below the casino the Fun Dungeon is an arcade fit for royalty. Hundreds of different games, and the traditional prizes you'd find at most arcades. There is also a Dairy Queen and Orange Julius downstairs and access to "The Tournament of Kings" The Tournament of Kings is a Vegas Classic. With real horses, a full dinner you eat with your hands, and lots of cheering for the competitors, it's a perfect show to take your children to. They sell light up swords, other swag and the over the top cheesiness is fun to watch. There's a food court! Dunkin Donuts, McDonalds, Baja Fresh, Dairy Queen, and more. There are also toy stores and other amenities for the kids in the shopping area. |
Circus CircusThe main attraction at Circus Circus is the Adventuredome. Check out the list of what's included. Rollerskating Rink, Laser Challenge, Rock Climbing, Bungee Jumping, Miniature Golf, Carnival Games, Arcade, Clown Acts, 2 Roller Coasters, and 7 epic rides.
Your kids can also enjoy the midway. Play all the carnival games you remember from the county fair or your local amusement park. You'll also be able to witness free circus acts. Finally, the pool at Circus Circus is perfect for families. With a 50' tall water slide tower complete with racing lanes, or a tubular experience the thrills continue outside. You can also enjoy the splash pad, and the water canons. Free Circus Acts |
The MirageThe Mirage set in the perfect location on the Vegas Strip. You're in the middle of everything with the Venetian across the street, Caesar's next door, and steps away form the Bellagio's dancing fountains. There are also some great dining options for the kids including California Pizza Kitchen, Carnegie Deli, and BLT Burger.
This resort also hosts a great pool area that while isn't over the top catering to kids and families like Mandalay Bay, MGM, and Circus Circus, it's a more muted version of them. The main attraction for kids at the Mirage is The Secret Garden and Dolphin Habitat. Swim with the dolphins and see beautiful white tigers and leopards. My son LOVED this attraction, and we even met the centers name sake. |
StratosphereThe Stratosphere is located at the northern most part of the Las Vegas strip. Although not the ideal location if you're wanting to venture out it's perfect for those that want a adrenaline rush with one of kind thrill rides.
